European crypto users show more trust in regulated firms under MiCA

MiCA crypto regulation is boosting trust in regulated platforms across Europe See why users and regulators are shifting toward compliant crypto services

European crypto users are increasingly trusting regulated platforms as the European Union’s Markets in CryptoAssets framework, known as MiCA, takes effect, according to Bitpanda coCEO Christian Trummer. Speaking on Cointelegraph’s Chain Reaction, Trummer said many users now prefer regulated providers over selfcustody, despite ongoing debate in the crypto community about controlling private keys and holding assets independently. He also argued that MiCA should be enforced more consistently, saying some companies continue serving European customers without the required authorization. The European Securities and Markets Authority has already signaled that national regulators should take action against firms operating beyond their transition periods.
