Ringg’s AI agents resolve up to 65% of customer calls with OpenAI

Ringg AI customer service automation for voice, chat, and WhatsApp at scale Cut call handling costs and resolve more requests faster with OpenAI models

Ringg, a startup in the AsiaPacific region, is using OpenAI models to power voice and chat agents that help businesses handle customer service at scale. According to the company, its system now processes more than 7 million connected calls each month and resolves up to 65% of routine requests without human intervention. The platform uses GPT5.6 and other OpenAI models across voice, chat, WhatsApp, and web channels. Ringg says it routes tasks such as account lookups, scheduling, CRM updates, and postcall analysis to different models depending on the job, aiming to balance quality, latency, and cost. Ringg also reports lower operating costs after moving selected workloads from GPT4.1 to GPT5.6, along with strong customer satisfaction scores. Its customers include Policybazaar, Practo, and Groww, where the system is used for insurance, healthcare, and investmentrelated support workflows.
