Quebec Liberals projected to win 4 of 5 Outaouais seats
Quebec election projection shows Liberals poised to sweep most Outaouais seats See which ridings flipped as voters backed health care, jobs and schools
CBC News is projecting the Quebec Liberal Party to win four of the five seats in Quebec's Outaouais region after the 2026 provincial election, with the Coalition Avenir Québec losing the ridings it held there.
The projected Liberal wins are in Hull, Chapleau, Pontiac and Gatineau. In Papineau, Parti Québécois candidate Isabelle Millette is projected to win after a close contest against the Liberal candidate.
The result marks a major shift in the region compared with the previous election. Local candidates said voters were focused on health care, education, jobs and the economy, rather than another referendum debate.
