Another lawsuit filed against Metro Vancouver

Metro Vancouver lawsuit over Annacis Island plant delays and $5.5M claim See why Michels Canada says faulty drawings and site conditions sparked the dispute

Metro Vancouver is facing another lawsuit in B.C. Supreme Court, this time from contractor Michels Canada over work at the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant in Delta. The company is seeking $5.5 million and says project delays were caused by inaccurate drawings, incorrect descriptions of site conditions, and unexpected conditions at the site. The plant is already the subject of a separate $250million legal dispute involving Acciona, which says Metro Vancouver wrongfully terminated its contract. Metro Vancouver said it would not comment on the latest case.
