Anchorage expands custody to Etherlink and tokenized uranium
Anchorage Digital Bank adds Etherlink custody for institutional Tezos assets and xU3O8 Access tokenized uranium, wrapped XTZ and more with segregated accounts and faster settlement
Anchorage Digital Bank has added custody support for Etherlink and several assets issued on the Tezos layer2 network, including xU3O8, a token backed by physical uranium.
The federally chartered crypto bank said the service is aimed at institutional clients and will use segregated accounts to hold Etherlinkbased assets. Other supported tokens include wrapped XTZ, a liquid staking token, stablecoins, and wrapped Ether.
According to the report, xU3O8 gives investors exposure to uranium without directly storing or handling the commodity. Anchorage said tokenization can shorten settlement times compared with traditional commodity exposure, which often involves specialist intermediaries and longer processing periods.
