Toronto police seize two dogs after attack near off-leash area

Toronto dog attack probe: police seize two dogs after an owner and pet were hurt See what investigators found after a Sept. 10 off-leash area incident in Toronto

Toronto police say they have located and seized two dogs linked to an attack on another dog and its owner near an offleash area in the city. According to police, the incident happened on Sept. 10 near Avenue Road and Roxborough Street, but the complaint was reported two days later, on Sept. 12. Investigators said a woman had the two dogs in the offleash area when the victim was walking a dog on a leash nearby. Police said the dogs left the offleash area and attacked the leashed dog and its owner. The dog was seriously injured, and the owner was also hurt. A woman had already been arrested in connection with the case before police announced the dogs had been seized on Friday.
