Police are investigating after a person was shot and killed in Brampton, Ontario, on Thursday evening.
Peel Regional Police said officers were called around 7:10 p.m. to Sandalwood Parkway and Crown Victoria Drive after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found one person with gunshot injuries.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene, but the person was later pronounced dead. Police said the suspect had left before officers arrived.
