Grab and OpenAI launch AI skills program in Southeast Asia

OpenAI and Grab launch AI training for 30,000 partners across Southeast Asia. Build practical skills for work and business, starting in Singapore and expanding soon.

OpenAI and Grab have launched GO Forward with AI, a regional training program designed to help 30,000 Grab driverpartners, delivery partners, and merchantpartners build practical AI skills for work and business use. The program starts in Singapore and will expand later this year to Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines, with Malaysia and Vietnam to follow in 2027. It is part of OpenAI for Singapore and builds on earlier work between the two companies, including Grab’s Driver AI Assistant. The workshops will focus on realworld tasks such as exploring business ideas, analyzing sales patterns, planning promotions, and creating simple dashboards or websites. OpenAI and Grab say the goal is to make AI more accessible and useful for workers and small businesses across Southeast Asia.
