Durham police say a fire at a funeral home in Oshawa, Ont., on Monday has been deemed suspicious. Oshawa Fire Services asked people to avoid the area near King Street and Mary Street after the blaze was reported early in the morning.
Police said there were no injuries. The funeral home, McIntoshAndersonKellam Funeral Home, said in a statement that it was taking steps to secure the property.
