Iran says it struck U.S.-linked targets as Bahrain reports drone attack

Iran said on Saturday that it carried out strikes against targets linked to U.S. forces after recent American attacks on its coastal surveillance sites. U.S. officials said their strikes were retaliation for an earlier drone attack on a cargo ship, while Iran said it was responding to what it called unlawful airstrikes.
