British Columbia's police watchdog is investigating a fatal crash in downtown Vancouver after a man driving a threewheeled Polaris Slingshot died following contact with police on Friday afternoon.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, officers on foot approached the man near Canada Place while investigating alleged fraud. Police said the suspect drove away, and a collision happened less than a block away. No one else was hurt.
