The Montreal Alouettes beat the Calgary Stampeders 3832 on Saturday in Calgary after building an early lead and holding off a late comeback attempt.
Quarterback Davis Alexander set a CFL record for consecutive pass attempts without an interception, reaching 336. He completed 25 of 32 passes for 402 yards and three touchdowns despite dealing with a left hamstring issue. Montreal improved to 51 and extended its unbeaten run against Calgary to eight games.
Calgary trailed 220 early in the second quarter but climbed back into the game behind two rushing touchdowns from Dedrick Mills and scoring passes from Vernon Adams Jr. and others. The Stampeders tied the game in the final minutes before Montreal answered with a late touchdown to seal the win. Montreal next hosts Hamilton, while Calgary visits Winnipeg.
