B.C. opens inquiry into StubHub over World Cup ticket cancellations

Provincial officials said Consumer Protection B.C. is also reviewing complaints under the Ticket Sales Act. StubHub has said it is working to honour refund guarantees, while some fans say they spent months trying to resolve cancelled orders and are still waiting for money back. The platform has blamed FIFA’s ticketing technology, but ticketing experts say speculative ticket sales may have contributed to the problem.
