Russian missile and drone attacks in southeastern Ukraine killed at least eight people and wounded 29 others on Monday, according to Ukrainian officials.
In Dnipro, a missile strike hit a private business and left five dead, while rescue crews continued searching the site. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the attack targeted infrastructure and urged stronger European air defence capabilities.
In Zaporizhzhia, a drone strike hit a passenger minibus, killing three people and injuring seven others, including a sevenyearold boy. Russian officials did not immediately comment on the attacks, which came as the war continues to inflict heavy damage on cities and civilian areas.
