Kyiv drone and missile attacks kill four and damage energy infrastructure See how the strikes hit Kyiv, Moldova, and NATO air defenses overnight

Russian drone and missile attacks on Kyiv and nearby areas killed at least four people, including a child, and damaged energy infrastructure, Ukrainian officials said Wednesday. Authorities said the overnight strikes hit the capital and surrounding areas, leaving smoke over Kyiv and prompting emergency crews to respond. Ukraine's air force said Russia used missiles and 188 drones, while most of the incoming weapons were intercepted. Russian officials said the assault targeted militaryrelated and energy sites in Ukraine. The attacks also affected parts of Moldova and prompted military jets to be scrambled in Romania and Poland, while flights at two Polish airports were briefly suspended.
