Invideo says GPT6 Astra is helping its video editing system plan complex edits more accurately and keep changes aligned with the editor’s intent. The OpenAI startup story was published on September 23, 2026.
According to OpenAI, Invideo uses the model to handle timeline decisions, color correction, and grading with fewer reasoning steps. The company says the success rate for colorgrading and correction has improved by about three times.
OpenAI also says the model helped Invideo create around 50 custom effects in one day. The company describes the tool as a way to reduce tedious framebyframe work while leaving creative control with human editors.
