Premarket moves: Paramount, Warner Bros., Accenture and Novo fall or rise on news

Paramount merger news lifts shares as settlement talks ease legal hurdles Premarket movers include Accenture, Novo Nordisk and Coinbase—see what’s driving gains

Shares of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery rose in premarket trading after a Wall Street Journal report said Paramount and California Attorney General Rob Bonta discussed settlement terms in a lawsuit that had been blocking the companies' merger. Accenture gained after it said it will partner with Anthropic to evaluate the AI startup's models, with the companies planning to invest at least $1 billion to expand capacity in the area. The announcement followed comments from Anthropic's CEO urging caution around the pace of AI development. Novo Nordisk fell after investors reacted coolly to its longterm growth plans in the weight loss market. The company said it aims to launch at least five drugs by 2030 and reach more than 150 billion Danish kroner in riskadjusted pipeline sales by 2035. Coinbase also moved higher as bitcoin rose, while Arhaus advanced after Jefferies upgraded the stock to buy.
