Several Gummy Gainz protein candies sold in Canada are being recalled after milk was not properly declared on the label, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
The recall was initiated after a consumer complaint, and authorities said one reaction has been reported in connection with the products. The CFIA is now carrying out a food safety investigation.
The recalled items include multiple flavours and package sizes, such as Fruit Salad, Blue Raspberry, Fuzzy Peach, Green Apple, Sour Watermelon, Sour Peach, an assorted sixpack, and sample packs. Consumers who are allergic or sensitive to milk are advised not to eat the products and to either throw them out or return them to the place of purchase.
