Mitchell leads Ticats past Lions 41-27 at home

Bo Levi Mitchell threw five touchdown passes as the Hamilton TigerCats beat the B.C. Lions 4127 on Friday night in Hamilton. The win gave Hamilton its second straight victory and its first home win of the CFL season. Mitchell completed 15 of 18 passes for 285 yards and matched a career high with five TD throws. B.C. quarterback Nathan Rourke passed for 291 yards with one touchdown and one interception, but the Lions were missing several key receivers because of injuries. Hamilton built a 279 halftime lead and kept control with strong redzone defence. Mitchell connected with Kurleigh Gittens Jr. and Kenny Lawler, while B.C. got touchdown catches from Nick Cenacle.
