The Rolling Stones have confirmed a new album titled "Foreign Tongues," set for release on July 10. The band also unveiled a new single, "In The Stars," and plans to mark the announcement with an event in Brooklyn featuring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood.
According to the label materials, the album includes one of Charlie Watts' final recording sessions before his death in 2021. It also features guest appearances from Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith and Chad Smith.
The release follows 2023's "Hackney Diamonds," the band's first album of original material in 18 years. In the weeks before the announcement, the group teased fans with posters, billboards and online clues that pointed to the new project.
