Avalanche Helicon Upgrade Set for September 22 Mainnet Activation

AvalancheGo v1.15.0 has scheduled the Helicon network upgrade for September 22 at 15:00 UTC, and mainnet node operators are being told to update before the activation time. The upgrade bundles several Avalanche Community Proposals and raises the plugin version used by Avalanche applications. According to the release notes, all mainnet nodes must upgrade before Helicon goes live, or they may become incompatible with the new consensus rules. For users, the change is expected to happen behind the scenes if validators update on time. For operators, however, the activation creates a firm deadline to install the new software and ensure plugins are on the compatible version.
