Nvidia selects Unitree for humanoid robot research platform
Nvidia humanoid robotics platform pairs Unitree H2 with Jetson Thor and Blackwell Researchers can build faster with Isaac GR00T tools, with sales expected later this year
Nvidia said it is working with Chinese robot maker Unitree on a new humanoid robotics system aimed at researchers and universities.
The platform combines Unitree’s H2 humanoid robot with Nvidia’s Jetson Thor hardware and Blackwell GPU, along with Nvidia’s Isaac GR00T AI models and simulation tools.
According to Nvidia, sales of the system are expected to begin later this year, with early users including research institutions such as Stanford, ETH Zurich, Ai2, UC San Diego, and the Stanford Robotics Center. The announcement comes as Unitree moves ahead with plans for a Shanghai STAR board IPO and as Nvidia expands further into robotics software and physical AI.
