West Island residents to get new aquatic centre
West Island aquatic centre opens in Montreal after years of planning and construction Discover the $70M pool complex set to serve local swimmers and families by 2027
Residents in Montreal’s West Island will soon have access to a new indoor aquatic centre after years of planning and construction.
Montreal’s mayor and the borough mayor of Pierrefonds were present for the opening of the facility, which cost more than $70 million to build. The project has been discussed for decades and is expected to become fully operational in 2027.
The centre is intended to serve local swimmers and families in the area with a modern indoor pool and related amenities.
