Kalshi CEO says company is considering an IPO, but not this year
Kalshi IPO plans take shape as CEO Tarek Mansour eyes public markets But 2026 is off the table; see why the prediction platform may wait until 2027
Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour said the prediction market company is beginning to think about a public listing, but he ruled out an IPO in 2026 during an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box.
Mansour said the company’s growth and financial profile make it natural to discuss a move to public markets, though he said no decision has been made. A separate report from The Information said any listing would likely be later, possibly in 2027 or 2028.
The company has grown quickly over the past year, with its valuation rising from $2 billion in June 2025 to $22 billion after a Series F round in May. Mansour also said Kalshi is working to reduce insider trading concerns by tightening customer verification and checking traders’ employers more closely.
