OpenAI has introduced new credit usage analytics and updated spend controls for ChatGPT Enterprise, giving enterprise administrators more visibility into how AI credits are used across their organizations.
The new tools, available now in the Global Admin Console, let admins track usage trends over time, identify top users, and break down spending by user, product, and model. The company also says the data can be accessed through a unified Cost API for organizations that want to analyze usage in their own systems.
OpenAI also updated workspace spend controls so admins can set default limits, configure groupspecific limits, and create individual overrides. Employees can review their credit usage, request additional credits, and add context about their work when asking for more capacity.
