Frontier Airlines to launch Starlink Wi-Fi in 2027

Frontier Airlines Wi-Fi is coming via Starlink in 2027 for Airbus jets See how the budget carrier is racing to add faster internet and new perks

Frontier Airlines said it plans to introduce inflight WiFi using SpaceX’s Starlink service in early 2027, starting with its first Airbus aircraft equipped for the system. The airline is one of several budget carriers tied to Indigo Partners that are adding Starlink, including Volaris, Wizz Air, JetSMART, and Cebu Pacific. Frontier currently does not offer WiFi, and the company did not say whether the service will be free for passengers. The move reflects growing pressure on lowcost airlines to offer more onboard amenities as travelers increasingly expect faster internet during flights. Frontier has also said it plans to add firstclass seats next year.
