Airbus Canada will supply AirAsia with 150 A220 jets built in Mirabel, Quebec, in what the company says is the largest firm order for the aircraft in its history.

While the deal is seen as a major win for the region’s aerospace industry, Airbus has still been dealing with production constraints at its Montrealarea facility, where output has not yet reached the level needed to break even.
