Morgan Stanley to let AI agents connect to its wealth platforms

Morgan Stanley stock administration AI helps clients manage complex equity plans Get early access to ShareWorks and Equity Edge automation for faster, leaner ops

Morgan Stanley plans to let external AI agents connect directly to its stock administration systems, including ShareWorks and Equity Edge, according to a CNBC report published June 3, 2026. The bank said the tools could help corporate clients manage increasingly complex stock compensation plans without adding staff. Mark Mitchell, chief product officer of Morgan Stanley at Work, said clients would increasingly use agentic AI tools inside their own companies rather than logging into the bank’s websites. Morgan Stanley has already given a small group of clients early access and expects to expand the offering to its 3,400 administration clients by next year. The move reflects a broader shift in Wall Street as firms explore how AI agents may interact with financial platforms and business systems.
