Inter Miami sign Casemiro as MLS opens tampering review

Inter Miami have signed Brazilian midfielder Casemiro on a free transfer, while Major League Soccer has opened a review into a potential tampering issue connected to the move. The club said the 34yearold agreed to a deal that runs through the 2027 sprint season, with an option to extend into the 202829 campaign. Inter Miami and the LA Galaxy also reached a settlement involving Casemiro’s discovery rights, though MLS said the terms will be released after the investigation ends. Casemiro arrives after four seasons at Manchester United and a highly decorated spell at Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League titles. He joins an Inter Miami team that already includes Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul and Luis Suárez as it defends its 2025 MLS Cup title.
