Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to former Vice President Kamala Harris’ Malibu home on Friday night after a woman reportedly appeared on the property twice without permission.
According to multiple reports, the woman first arrived by Uber and tried to reach security at the $8 million residence before being told to leave. She later returned, which prompted a call to authorities after 10 p.m. Deputies did not arrest her.
A Harris spokesperson said security stopped the person before she reached the home and that Harris and Doug Emhoff were not there at the time. Officials also said patrols around the property were increased after the incident.
