UiPath CMO discusses how AI is changing work
UiPath AI adoption insights reveal why projects stall and how to fix workflow gaps See how automation changes jobs while keeping humans in the loop for better results
UiPath CMO Michael Atalla discussed how companies are using AI at work, what is holding many projects back, and how jobs are changing as automation spreads. The conversation was published on May 3, 2026, and focused on enterprise AI adoption and workflow design.
Atalla said many AI efforts fail because tools are deployed in isolation instead of being connected across broader business processes. He argued that companies often focus too much on what a model can do and too little on how work needs to be organized for AI to be useful.
He also addressed job concerns, saying AI is reshaping roles rather than fully replacing people. In his view, routine tasks are increasingly automated, while humans remain responsible for judgment, oversight, and higherstakes decisions. UiPath’s approach, he said, is to use agents where they add value and keep people involved in accountable parts of the workflow.
