Brentford are set to add United States youth international goalkeeper Aidan Stokes from New York Red Bulls on loan, according to a report confirmed on Wednesday.
The 18yearold will join Brentford’s Premier League 2 squad, with the move including an option to buy his contract. Stokes previously came through the Red Bulls Academy and signed an MLS deal in 2023 that runs through 2027, with an option for 2028.
Stokes has also represented the United States at youth level, including appearances at the 2025 U17 World Cup, and has been called into camps for Wales and England as well. He has played for Red Bulls II in MLS Next Pro over the past three seasons.
