B.C. Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson faces scrutiny after election silence See why his Lions game appearance with Christy Clark is turning heads

VANCOUVER Interim B.C. Conservative leader Lorne Doerkson was seen at a B.C. Lions game on Friday night alongside former B.C. premier Christy Clark. Doerkson has not held public events or news conferences since Tuesday, when NDP Leader David Eby called a provincial election. He has served as interim Conservative leader since Sunday, following KerryLynne Findlay's resignation. Clark, who served as premier from 2011 to 2017, attended the game in Lions gear as the team played the Saskatchewan Roughriders. She previously called the timing of the election "absolutely unheard of" and said she was not involved in any behindthescenes political negotiation.
