Marina Mabrey earns first Toronto Tempo All-Star nod after a record-tying 53-point performance and a standout scoring run ahead of the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.

Toronto Tempo guard Marina Mabrey has been named a reserve for the 2026 WNBA AllStar Game, becoming the first player from the new franchise to earn AllStar recognition. Mabrey said the selection felt validating after years of work and perseverance. Toronto coach Sandy Brondello said Mabrey has raised her level of play and helped improve the team around her. The selection follows Mabrey’s recordtying 53point performance against the Los Angeles Sparks last month, when she matched the WNBA singlegame scoring mark. She has also led the league in scoring over a threegame stretch and is averaging more than 20 points per game this season. The 22nd WNBA AllStar Game will be held in Chicago on July 25.
