SpaceX shares fall 9% after strong IPO debut

SpaceX shares slide after debut as losses deepen and cash stays strong See the latest stock move, notes offering, and what’s driving investor concern

SpaceX shares dropped 9% on Monday, extending a threeday stretch of losses after the company’s strong public market debut earlier this month. The stock, which began trading on June 12, had surged in its first two sessions before giving back much of those gains last week. Even after the decline, it remained above its offer price. SpaceX also announced a senior unsecured notes offering and said it held $100.8 billion in cash and cash equivalents as of June 19. The company reported a net loss of $4.9 billion in 2025 and a $4.28 billion loss in the first quarter of this year.
