Several major stocks moved in afterhours trading on Monday after companies reported quarterly results.
Palantir Technologies rose about 10% after its secondquarter revenue beat expectations, helped by a sharp increase in U.S. commercial sales. On Semiconductor gained around 5% after reporting results that were slightly ahead of Wall Street estimates, including stronger margins.
Snap climbed about 11% following its secondquarter update, with revenue and user metrics coming in above expectations. Whirlpool fell about 3% after posting a largerthanexpected adjusted loss, missing revenue estimates and cutting its fullyear earnings guidance.
