Tether and Fasanara launch $400M private credit fund

Tether private credit fund backs USDT lending with $400M and global reach See how StableFund targets SMEs, trade finance, and institutional capital

Tether and Fasanara Capital have started a private credit fund with $400 million in backing from the two firms and a goal of raising up to $3 billion from institutional investors. The fund, called StableFund, will use Tether’s USDT settlement infrastructure to support shortterm, assetbacked lending through fintech platforms in more than 60 countries. The companies said the strategy will focus on small and mediumsized businesses, consumer lending, trade receivables, and supply chain finance. Fasanara will manage the investments, while Tether will help source financing opportunities and provide the on and offchain movement of funds. Tether has been expanding beyond stablecoins into broader investment activity, including stakes in fintech, tokenized finance, and other sectors.
