Serena Williams returned to professional tennis with a win at Queen's Club in London on Tuesday, nearly four years after her last pro match.
Williams, 44, partnered with 19yearold Canadian Victoria Mboko in the grasscourt doubles event and defeated Nicole MelicharMartinez and Erin Routliffe 76 (2), 62.
Williams showed strong serving throughout the match, including two aces and a service winner to close it out. She has announced her return to doubles, but has not said whether she plans to play singles again.
