Richmond sex exploitation case: North Vancouver man charged after 20-year probe Police allege abuse from 2004 to 2008; share tips to help investigators

Police in Richmond say a North Vancouver man has been charged after a longrunning investigation into the alleged sexual exploitation of a youth that dated back more than 20 years. Investigators say the case began after a person contacted police in September 2024. The accused, 53yearold Zahid Hassandeen Zade Nanji, faces charges of sexual exploitation and sexual assault. Police say the alleged offences occurred between 2004 and 2008, when the man was reportedly in a position of trust or authority. Officers are asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
