Florida man charged over online threats against Trump, Rubio and Bondi See what prosecutors say he posted and the prison time he could face
A Florida man has been charged in federal court after prosecutors said he posted threats online targeting President Donald Trump, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and former Attorney General Pam Bondi.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, Nathaniel Sanders II, 32, allegedly made repeated social media threats between January and April. Prosecutors said the posts included a threat to bomb the White House and comments about using a gun against Trump and Melania Trump.
Officials said the case was investigated by the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies. If Sanders is convicted on the federal charges, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
