New La La Land poster updates Ryan Gosling’s pose

A new poster for the 10th anniversary rerelease of La La Land changes Ryan Gosling’s pose in the film’s famous promotional image. The update responds to a longtime comment from Gosling, who has said the original wrist position in the poster bothered him. The new design keeps the same overall look but adjusts his arm and hand to more closely match Emma Stone’s pose. Lionsgate said Gosling approved the change after being consulted about it. The anniversary rerelease is set to play in theatres across the U.S. on Aug. 16, ahead of the film’s 10year milestone.
