Los Angeles native and beach volleyball Hall of Famer Christopher “Sinjin” Smith says Spencer Pratt’s mayoral campaign is connecting with voters who want a different approach to city leadership.
In an interview with Fox News Digital in Santa Monica, Smith said Pratt is speaking to frustration over problems such as homelessness, crime and the city’s wildfire response. He argued that Pratt’s outsider status could help shake up longstanding institutional issues.
Smith also said he believes Los Angeles has needed a candidate willing to make difficult changes, and described Pratt’s message as practical rather than partisan. Pratt faces Mayor Karen Bass and city council member Nithya Raman in Tuesday’s primary, with the top two advancing to November unless one candidate wins outright.
