Police arrested a man after an early morning security breach at Vancouver International Airport, according to Richmond RCMP and airport officials.
Authorities said officers were called around 4 a.m. after the man entered a secure area near the terminal and accessed an aircraft without permission. YVR said he got onto the apron by climbing over a fence.
The airport said the incident was contained within minutes and that operations were not disrupted. RCMP said the investigation is continuing, and airport officials said they are reviewing security measures with police and partner agencies.
