The parade route runs from Haygood Avenue to West Main Street (US1) then to North Lake Drive (SC6). The best viewing spots are along West Main Street from Haygood Avenue to the intersection of Main Street and Lake Drive. To prepare for the 3:00 p.m. parade start, additional street closures will begin at 2:45 p.m. This includes West Main Street from Columbia Avenue to North Lake Drive, East Main Street at Harmon Street, North Lake Drive at Dreher Street, and South Lake Drive at Fort Street. Traffic will be detoured around the parade route until the event is complete. Main roadways are expected to reopen around 4:30 p.m., though West Butler Street will remain closed until all floats and participants have cleared. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to secure parking and seating, and to park only in public lots to avoid towing.
