Search continues for two Ottawa men wanted in Perth homicide
Ontario homicide suspects sought in Perth case after charge upgraded to first-degree Police urge tips as officers track two Ottawa men believed in B.C. and New Brunswick
Ontario Provincial Police say two Ottawa men wanted in connection with a homicide in Perth, Ontario, may be in British Columbia and New Brunswick.
Police identified the suspects as 34yearold Joseph Madore and 28yearold Brayton Kennedy. The case stems from an April 12 incident at Last Duel Park in the Perth area, where officers found a person with lifethreatening injuries. The victim was taken to a trauma centre and later died.
Police say the charge has been upgraded from seconddegree murder to firstdegree murder. Investigators believe Madore may be travelling through backcountry areas in British Columbia, while Kennedy may be in New Brunswick. Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
