Solana sees record 263K tokens issued in a single day
Solana token creation hits a record as SPL mints surge past 263,000 in one day. See how Pump.fun keeps driving activity and revenue across the network.
Solana recorded a new daily high in token creation on Wednesday, with more than 263,000 Solana Program Library (SPL) tokens minted on the blockchain, according to Solscan. The figure surpassed the daily token issuance seen during the peak of the late2024 memecoin cycle.
Most of the new tokens came from launchpads, with Pump.fun responsible for the bulk of that activity. The memecoin platform accounted for 34,184 of the 40,360 tokens created through launchpads, highlighting its continued role in Solana’s token activity.
The article also notes that Pump.fun remains a major revenue generator on Solana, bringing in about $1.8 million in the past 24 hours. It previously represented onethird of Solana’s firstquarter revenue in 2026, even as memecoin trading has cooled.
