Polymarket completes first block trade as institutional interest grows
Polymarket block trade expands AI compute prediction markets for institutional traders See how FalconX and Anera Labs signal growing demand for private, larger deals
Polymarket said it completed its first block trade on a contract tied to AI compute infrastructure, marking another step in prediction markets’ effort to attract institutional traders.
The transaction involved FalconX, a digital asset brokerage, and Anera Labs, a startup working on clearing infrastructure for AIrelated risk. The trade was linked to the Ornn Compute Price Index, which tracks rental prices for Nvidia H100 GPU chips.
The company said the deal reflects growing demand for larger, privately negotiated trades on its platform. Polymarket also noted that FalconX will act as a market maker for future block trades on its platforms. The announcement comes about a month after rival Kalshi reported its own first block trade.
