Amazon sets four-day Prime Day for June 23 to June 26

Amazon will hold its annual Prime Day sales event from June 23 through June 26, keeping the fourday format for a second year in a row. The company says the longer event reflects how Prime members shopped throughout the full period last year. It plans to roll out limitedtime deals and new discounts each day to encourage repeat visits. This year's promotions are expected to emphasize groceries and household essentials as many consumers continue to feel pressure from inflation and weak sentiment. Amazon said some produce, meats and other basics will be discounted, alongside selected personal care items.
