Second suspect wanted in fatal Sudbury tent fire case

Sudbury police are looking for a second suspect in connection with a tent fire in Greater Sudbury that is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators say 31yearold Bryan Eshquib is wanted on charges including firstdegree murder, arson with disregard for human life, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The case stems from a fire on June 11 at the Energy Court encampment. Emergency crews responded to two tents on fire in the early morning. After firefighters put out the flames, they found a person dead inside one of the tents. Police later identified the victim as a 41yearold man from Greater Sudbury, and his name has not been released. Police had previously arrested 33yearold Brandon GramlingMcEwan in the same investigation. Authorities are asking anyone with information about Eshquib’s location to contact police or Crime Stoppers. The allegations have not been proven in court.
