Digital Commodities buys Solana after selling gold, adding a 5% NAV growth bet See how the Canadian firm keeps Bitcoin core while exploring AI-linked digital assets
A Canadian public company, Digital Commodities, has purchased about C$100,000 worth of Solana after selling part of its physical gold holdings.
The company said the SOL position equals roughly 5% of its estimated net asset value. Its core reserve strategy remains centered on Bitcoin, with 11 BTC and cash still forming the main foundation.
Digital Commodities described Solana as a separate growthoriented allocation, tied to its view that blockchain infrastructure could benefit from broader demand linked to artificial intelligence and other digital activity. The company said it may consider adding more digital assets under this second tier later, depending on market conditions.
